What it costs
One fee, paid by the buyer. The seller receives every tranche in full.
You fund the order and the fee on it once, up front. The fee is earned as each payout is released, so an unreleased tranche comes back with its fee. When the seller is paid in another currency, conversion is at the mid-market rate plus a published fee for that currency. The seller pays nothing.
- Platform fee
- 1.5%→0.9%with a new seller → once you've completed $50,000 with them
At least $25 per payout, never more than $3,000 an order, charged as each tranche is released. The seller pays nothing and receives every tranche in full. Conversion at the mid-market rate adds 0.35%–1.9% by currency.

Platform fee
Two rates, one fee
1.5%
with a new seller
Your first orders with a seller, until you have completed US$50,000 of orders with them.
0.9%
once established
Every order after that with the same seller. Earned by completing orders, not by counting them: three sample orders do not get you here, a few real ones do.
- US$25
- minimum, per payout
- US$3,000
- maximum, per order
The floor is what a payout costs to make and check, so a sample order split six ways is not a loss. The ceiling keeps a large first order inside what a letter of credit would cost.
Funded with the order and earned pro rata as each payout is released, so an unreleased tranche comes back with its fee. The rate is fixed when the order is created; a seller you become established with mid-order gets the lower rate on the next one.
- Unlimited milestones per order
- Evidence storage, hashing and verification
- Dispute determination when you need it
- Full evidence pack export, any time
- Both parties on the platform at no extra cost
Conversion fees by payout currency
Conversion at the mid-market rate
When the seller is paid in another currency, you see the mid-market rate, our fee for that currency, and the exact amount the seller receives, before you fund. The fee is published per currency and reviewed monthly, and sits under a typical bank's spread.

The cost of moving the money is inside the platform fee. There is no other line: no pay-in charge, no per-payout charge, nothing on the seller's side.
What the seller pays
Nothing. The seller receives every tranche in full, converted at the mid-market rate. The fee, the conversion fee and the cost of moving the money are all the buyer's, so the seller's invoice is paid as invoiced — which matters most in the corridors where a short-paid remittance is a compliance problem for the exporter, not just an annoyance.
What a real order costs

- Tranches

- Platform fee, 1.5%, a new seller

- Conversion to CNY, 0.5%

- On each payout, pro rata
Do not measure this against a wire fee. Measure it against a $36,000 deposit you cannot get back, and against the 1.5% to 2.5% a bank hides in the rate of a wire that protects nothing.
Questions about cost
- When is the platform fee charged?
- It is funded with the order and earned on release. A tranche that is never released is never charged for: its fee comes back with it, and an order that is cancelled before any milestone is met costs nothing.
- Why does the rate drop?
- Because the risk the fee prices is the pair's, not the order's. A first order with a factory you have not worked with is what the structure is for; the fifth order with the same factory is not, and the fee should say so. Once you have completed US$50,000 of orders with a seller, every order after that with them is at 0.9%.
- Is there a subscription or minimum?
- No monthly fee, no minimum order size, and no charge for orders that never activate. The only floor is US$25 per payout, which matters on sample orders and nowhere else.
- Are there any other charges?
- Everything is on the estimate before you fund: the platform fee and, if the seller is paid in another currency, the conversion fee. There is nothing else — no pay-in charge, no per-payout charge, nothing on the seller's side. Card funding is not offered, because card fees would double the cost of an order.
- How does this compare to a bank wire?
- A wire looks cheaper because the bank hides its fee in the exchange rate, typically 1.5% to 2.5%. On a $120,000 order paid in CNY, Tranchio's fees come to $2,400 on top with a new seller and $1,680 once established. That is inside what a bank charges for a wire that offers no recourse once sent, and the seller still receives its money at the mid-market rate, with the tranches, the evidence and the audit trail.
