Terms of service

These are being drafted with Hong Kong counsel and are not finished. Nothing on this page is in force, and no agreement is formed by reading it. Tranchio is not open to customers yet.

What they will cover

  • How the money moves. At launch a licensed payment provider will move the funds, with Tranchio as the control layer that instructs each payout. No provider is engaged yet and no funds move through the platform today. The terms will name the provider, say when each tranche is paid on the buyer's approval, and say what happens to unreleased amounts if an order is unwound.
  • What Tranchio decides, and on what basis. Both parties appoint Tranchio to determine whether a milestone’s evidence meets the gate they agreed. That determination is made on the evidence submitted, not on the commercial merits of the underlying deal, and not on whether the goods are good.
  • Where to go if you disagree. A party who rejects a determination has a route to a real forum. A closed system where the platform has the last word is both unattractive and weak.
  • What Tranchio is liable for, stated plainly and proportionately.

Until these are published, the description of how the platform works on the security page is accurate and current. Every claim on it is a claim about code that exists.
